Cheshire Surveys Ltd is a long-standing business which has built up a strong, trusted brand reputation over many years.
The business was heading into a period of consolidation and expansion with the launch of a new website and updated branding. It was the right time to consolidate these developments and begin to work on presenting the business in the right way to reach its variety of target audiences.
“I had met Julie from Time for Marketing at the Business Network Chester a year or so before we entered this period and I knew I wanted to work with her when the time was right,” commented Louise Hilder, Director of Cheshire Surveys.
“Our marketing and promotion were minimal, and we knew we needed to do more but didn’t know where to start. Our social media was ad hoc and relied on the directors remembering to post, meaning we would often go a long time between posts and content was limited.

Process
An initial briefing meeting took place between Louise, Michele (Cheshire Surveys’ Business Development Manager) and Julie to discuss the existing status of the company’s marketing; its Vision and Values and objectives of the business, Julie then devised a cohesive Marketing Strategy focusing on an initial ‘phase one’ of priorities.
These included an analysis of the new website to determine the user journey and gauge whether it could function more effectively, together with due diligence in terms of a starting point for organic traffic to the website; the introduction of PR to underpin any business developments and, of course, the management of social media across all platforms.
Once the proposal had been approved, Julie immediately began working with Cheshire Surveys to achieve the objectives.
Results
