Background
ABL Planning & Development is a business that began during ‘lockdown year’ of 2020 – coincidentally, at around the same time as Time for Marketing.
Rachael, Director of ABL, met Julie through an online networking event and realised that her new business needed to be marketed.
The groundwork was already in place with a website, ongoing Google Ads, social media and a good networking presence. Rachael was looking to consolidate and build on these already strong marketing foundations.
“Upon meeting Julie whilst networking, we simply ‘gelled’ and I knew she was the right person to help to take my business forwards,” Rachael commented.
“Our businesses were in a similar position and the big bonus for us at that time was that Time for Marketing was, and remains, affordable for a small business such as ours. Julie initially carried out research; looked at keywords for our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and then wrote additional copy for our website. Julie was happy to work on an ad hoc basis – as and when we required the services of Time for Marketing, and within our budget.” Rachael continued.
As Time for Marketing began to grow and diversify their offering, ABL Planning & Development was instrumental in adopting their Virtual Assistant (VA) service.
“The VA service provided by Georgia is a massive help as it provides a business presence when we are out and about on site visits, or at meetings etc. I have been so impressed with Georgia’s continuing level of service that I have recommended her to other contacts in my industry and I know two further businesses now also use Georgia on an ongoing basis for her exceptional attention to detail and telephone manner – both invaluable to small businesses such as ours.”
“As a planning consultancy, ABL Planning & Development is a volatile business. The flexible approach of Time for Marketing’s service is highly beneficial and is one of the big draws for us. The affordable cost, and the fact we are not committed to an ongoing financial retainer, makes it easy to manage our marketing budget and pick it up/put it down as necessary. The VA service is different as I have become reliant on Georgia managing my phone calls and my clients are happy that there is always a friendly voice at the other end of the phone, even when I am unavailable,” Rachael continued.
Conclusion
“The synergy between our business and Time for Marketing has forged an excellent working relationship as Julie and Georgia are very approachable. We have worked openly and honestly over the last few years, and we would highly recommend them.”
